Brown Recluse Spider

The following illustrates the progression of a Brown Recluse spider bite. Just a warning...day 3 and 6 are not too graphic, however day 9 and 10 are very graphic. Viewer discretion is advised! The last photo is an actual picture of the spider.

They like darkness and tend to live in storage sheds or attics or other areas that may not be frequented by people or light. If you have a need to be in your attic, go up there and turn on the light and leave it on for about 30 minutes before you go in to do your work.

This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by remote button.

Should you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home. If someone has access to the spare remote have them telephone you on your cell phone. Turn up the volume and hold your (or anyone's) cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person press the unlock button, holding it near the phone. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.

I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *677.
It was about 1 PM in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren's parents have 4 children (high school and college age) and have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather wait until they get a gas station, etc.
Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called *677 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her.
The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way. Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.
I never knew about the *677 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car.
Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a "safe" place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them (i.e. put on your hazard lights) or call *677 like Lauren did.
Too bad the cell phone companies don't generally give you this little bit of wonderful information.
*Speaking to a service representative at **Bell** Mobility confirmed that *677 was a direct link to OPP Dispatch. So, now it's your turn to let your friends know about *677.

1. My mail carrier told me that the US Postal service sent out a
message to all letter carriers to put a sheet of Bounce in their uniform pockets
to keep yellow jackets away. Use them all the time when playing baseball

and soccer I use it when I am working outside. It really works.

The yellow jackets just veer around you. And all this time you've! just been putting Bounce in the dryer!
2. It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them.
3. It also repels mice. Spread them around foundation areas, or in
trailers, cars that are sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle.

milk of magnesia, Soak for 20 min. and let dry, will last for many years!

30. To keep goggles and glasses from fogging, coat with Colgate toothpaste

32. To remove wax - Take a paper towel and iron it over the wax stain, it

33. Remove labels off glassware etc. rub with Peanut butter!

and the static from the Bounce Towel will cause the baked on food to adhere
to it. Soak overnight. Also; you can use 2 Efferdent tablets, Soak

41. To keep FRESH FLOWERS longer Add a little Clorox, or 2 Bayer aspirin, Or
just use 7-up instead of water.

42. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered
which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness? Did you
know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist
tie. They are: Monday = Blue, Tuesday = Green, Thursday = Red Friday = White
and Saturday = Yellow. So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist
tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go
alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through
Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in
the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and
even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn
something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right
color on the day you are shopping.
